A Week & 2 Days

On the 6th January every piece of work i’ve produced over three years whilst being at uni was wiped from my hard drive, this included all the work i’ve been producing for my ‘Not So Book’, this left me with a problem. I made sure that I had it all done before the Christmas holidays so when i’d come back i’d have plenty of time to screen print everything, I even made a start before i broke up. So I was just waiting to use those facilities when I came back. 

Needless to say I was more than annoyed with what had happened and I didn’t know what to do. I took it to PC world for them to try and recover everything off it and it would of taken 3-4 days, so it was just a waiting game till i heard back from them. In the mean time I started to re-do the last 3 images that needed printing incase I couldn’t get them back. Tuesday was the day when the phone call came in to deliver the bad news that non of it could be recovered … Part of me was pissed off, but the initial shock of it happening had worn off and I’ve moved on from it and dealt with it. 

So yesterday i’ve finished printing my book completely and bound it together. I’m so happy i’ve managed to finish this project despite what happened and i’m also very happy with how its turned out. Here are some photos i’ve taken of the final thing and a few added extras to add to the pack with the book. All of the book was screen printed and it was hard bloody work!(bad lighting as the fuse has gone in the big light, so a desk lamp had to do)

Badges and Business Cards

Deadline is on Monday morning, I might try and do some more badges before the hand in with some images from the book on them.

So thats what’s happened in a week & 2 days …. Up’s and Down’s. Just have to get on with it.
